Recently the General Manager of Cutting Edge Sydney, Australia’s largest independent film production and post-production company.
While it might seem an odd thing for a creative guy to say, I actually really enjoyed the P&L responsibility, managing a staff of 43 and being the point-man for clients.
Previously I’ve spent decades in agencies large and small, creating enduring and effective strategies and campaigns for clients across every sector and in every medium (static, broadcast, digital and social), winning several awards and even more pitches.
As well as directing creative, writing copy, generating strategy and ideas, I also do a bit of voice-over work, have directed several low budget spots and written and directed a couple of short films.
I also know the difference between a past and present participle and for some reason, clients seem to like and trust me.
